X-Key 16
Expand the functionality of your EXTER operator interface panel with the X-Key 16, adding 16 function keys and LEDs.
You can connect up to four X-Key 16’s to a single panel for a total of 64 additional function keys and LEDs. Precise and clear communication with the operator is enabled via the associated text area for each set of function keys and LEDs even when your keyboard is situated separately from the operator panel. You can adjust the dimmable LEDs to suit the exact requirements of the application.
Easy to put into operation in your application, the X-Key 16 can be configured as part of the main project with the intuitive Information Designer software tool. You can alter settings such as communication speed, station number and port quickly and easily by using the function keys.
The X-Key 16 features three serial ports that may be utilized for communication with the operator interface panel as well as between extended keyboards. You can position the keyboard beside the operator panel or at a distance depending on the cable and port. They X-Key 16 can be located up to 15 meters away when connected to the RS-232C port.
