CIMREX Tools - utility software

CIMREX utility software tools are comprised of four diverse programs, utilized for communication between the operator interface panels and the PC.

Alarms, trends and recipes

Recipe files can be easily transferred from CIMREX or EXTER operator interface panels to a PC for editing or back-up by means of the CIMREX Tools File Transfer program and the CIMREX FTP Client program. This can be done either in Excel or directly in the program, after which the new recipe can then be reloaded into the operator panel. Alarm lists with all incoming alarms can be transferred to the PC and trend files can be conveyed from the operator panel to the PC for utilization in various types of program.

HTML files and Terminal applet

You can upload or download files to and from the operator panel via FTP, with the operator panel functioning as an FTP server. An FTP client program such as the CIMREX Tools FTP Client is required in your PC in order to upload or download files. The CIMREX Tools FTP Client program can be used to download HTML files and terminal applets for the network or web functions to the operator interface panel. 

System program upgrades for CIMREX

It’s simple to upgrade the operator interface panels on the release of new functions and new system program versions thanks to the flash memory. The CIMREX Tools System Loader program makes it easy to upgrade CIMREX operator panels.

Modem management

Modems can be utilized to manage communication between operator panels and PCs, such as the collecting of files from the panel or the downloading new projects into it. Simply use CIMREX Tools Connect to establish communication.
